I wandered into this hobby like most, from the nostalgia of dropping quarters into an Arcade machine. Whether it was Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders or Asteroids it did not matter. The memories from the days gone by will persist.
I bought two machines locally from a radio program called the Swap Shop. It was a Donkey Kong Red and a Ms. Pac-Man. Ironically both worked, but only after a lot of tinering and learning.
I perused the Web looking for parts like T-Molding, Coin Mechanisms, Joysticks and the like. It was easy to find most parts, but what killed me was waiting weeks for my order to arrive, finding out someplace else had it cheaper and having items back ordered.
So I began rooting around. looking, comparing and buying bits and pieces in bulk and selling the excess. That is how it all began. I now sell the same parts I tracked down and researched. I buy in bulk to pass the savings on and sell at a decent price to go with it.
I also refund excess shipping. I am currently looking at ways to balance shipping costs and offer free shipping. More to follow on that adventure.
